Her chest fell with a small careful exhale. Even if it meant letting him go to someone else. She only wanted happiness for him, that was all. She didn’t mean to hurt him…she never wanted to be the one causing the face he was making now. The dangerous idea of pulling him into her arms that came along with the urge was even worse. And so was the powerful urge to make the emotions in his eyes go away. The guilt blooming in her chest screaming for her to stop staring was no help. The sadness and pain reflecting back at her were intense - so intense she found herself caught between the desire to look away and the strong fixation her eyes had on his. The slight tear in his voice ripping through his throat gave her heart an aching squeeze.Įven the close proximity between them was too trivial for her to care. Actions, emotions and thoughts are purely Allen’s. In case you’re wondering, Neah is not involved at all. It has fascinating writing, the characters are kept like with the source material and the new ones are believable and the interactions of everyone (plus their emotions and decisions) are realistic.Please read Part 3 if you have not. Despite having OCs and dealing with many characters, the author manages to keep the focus on Allen (and also writing about the Noah Clan and the Order). ![]() The plot is intriguing, with the issues of the said Noah, Allen trying to find out about Neah, Mana, and his own origins. ![]() He ends up helping her, only to find out she can't remember who she is. While using the Ark to escape, he finds a room with a Noah chained and in a comatose-like state.
